Golden Range hosts an approximate 950,000 oz gold resource, spread along a dominant central shear corridor, as well as an existing 800 ktpa processing plant and associated infrastructure (placed on care and maintenance during 2019 by its previous owner).
This existing base offers a potential accelerated and low capital intensity pathway to future gold production upon further exploration success.
The big exploration opportunity we are pursuing at Golden Range is the targeting and delineation of primary gold deposits. Almost all previous drilling in this area has been focussed on shallow oxide gold in proximity to the existing mill. Removing this constraint opens up an incredible search space in fresh rock, some of which lies immediately below existing open pits.
An aggressive drilling program at Golden Range through 2023 is targeted at substantially growing the existing gold resources. It will also test key base metals targets, given the very minimal drilling undertaken for this previously.
